A London walking tour that uncovers the life of 19th and 20th century women pioneers.
This London walking tour takes you along Westminster statues dedicated to the life and achievements of inspiring women: Florence Nightingale, the world famous nursing pioneer, women’s rights campaigner Millicent Fawcett and others who deeply impacted society.
We will also hear about some less prominent, like Hannah More and Mary Seacole, who broke with social norms, fighting for what they believed in. Single women, married mothers of children, working class, aristocratic, white or black – they came from different backgrounds and faced their particular challenges, yet each of them was a woman who influenced her time, society and nation in a unique way.
Join us on this tour and let their stories inspire you: to believe in your dreams and your ability to impact your own world likewise!
